AKC sanctioned area includes: Forsyth, Hall and Dawson Counties.

Established in 1988, Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of the purebred dog and to provide and promote canine education to the community.

As an AKC licensed all-breed club SMKC is based in Cumming, GA and our area includes, Forsyth, Dawson and Hall Counties. The club is a member of the Lake Lanier Cluster and holds two ALL-Breed/ Obedience and Rally Shows yearly.

Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club membership meetings are typcially held on the second Wednesday of each month. AKC Sanctioned Shows, Events, and Trials are held through out the year, in Hall, Forsyth and Dawson county facilities.

ATTENTION CLUB MEMBERS – OLD AND NEW PLEASE HELP AND SUPPORT YOUR CLUB-Please sign up to help.

All club members are invited to please support your club at this event. There are many areas where you can volunteer, if just for a few hours. We will need help in setting up the Obedience and Rally area, putting down tape for distinguishing rings and grooming areas, helping with catalog sales, ring hospitality, judges hospitality, public education, trophies, grooming, and generally filling in to relieve others or run errands.
